I need to build firefox 19 and underlaying libraries for Solaris 10 x86. Resulting binaries must have similar functional like official contributors build of mozilla foundation. At last, i need to get a full build environment for source modification and creating my contribution build. Warning: building for solaris is just similary like building for linux and so on, but need number of fixes for libraries and application (caused by old system).

About a year ago I had a similar project. First I had built a recent gcc and then all the required libraries. So it is possible to minimize the dependencies regarding Solaris and to have a build system with long time support. I am sure that I can provide a good solution for this problem.

I have experience in building FireFox (albeit a bit older version released in 2010) on Solaris 10 x86. As far as I can tell from the documents at MDN site, the set of required libraries hasn't changed very much since then. I have a spare Solaris 10 x86 environment with Solaris Studio 12.3 installed, which I can use as a dedicated environment for this project. I am ready to start now.
