Project Description

Project Description:

This is a simplified version of my other project posted here on [url removed, login to view] (Virtual Sound Card Driver for IP)

We need a virtual sound card driver that will connect to an icecast server as client receive the audio and make the audio available to windows as virtual sound card. The audio should be coming as "line in" (not out) on the VSC so our software can use it. (as if you connect a cd player to your computer's line in)

+ the stream can be mp3 or aac+

+ volume should be adjustable by windows applications,

+ if for any reason there is disconnection the software should re establish the connection.

+ it's ok that the changes to stream url may require reboot,

+ no gui is necessary,

+ being able to install multiple instances of the sound card is a plus but not mandatory.

all sources and libraries needs to be delivered.

we have seen similar projects done with the following libraries.
