Project Description

We have a nearly completed program that will be used in a museum exhibit. We're looking for someone with capabilities in programming character walks and smoothing out programmatic animations to move humanoid characters on screen. The activity has a limited environment with one camera in one static position. Characters walk in off screen towards a point on screen (determined in part by a Kinect), then the character turns and faces the camera, so that it appears to stop in front of a user. We only have walk and stand animations since the characters don't run. The current algorithm has characters walking into the scene from off camera, stopping at the target point and then rotating unnaturally to face the camera. We are looking for someone who has knowledge of walking/turning algorithms to make the character's motions more natural. We would send you our code and unity scenes, have you edit them or implement your own code, and return a finished product of characters walking naturally via coded algorithm.
