We currently have a prototype for a 2D tower defense game made using Corona SDK (coded in lua). The game only has about 25% of its features implemented (hence being considered a prototype). Before we go too far we would like to find a programmer to convert everything we have to work in Unity 3D (preferably done in C#). This way we can also release the project on PC/Mac (corona only supports iOS / Android). Even though the game will be released on PC it will need to be optimized enough to also work on mobile devices! (iOS / Android)
The game is broken up into two separate modes (day & night mode):
The first being a scavenging mode where players tap on locations to send characters on missions (basic core has been implemented in corona version). The second mode features side scrolling tower defense combat. The game does not include a set number of levels, players are able to continue playing until they die.
We have been using the 2D Toolkit plugin from the Unity Store to help with creating 2D games in Unity 3D. We will be able to provide you with the plugin as well as the current code from corona and our current game design document.
Due to being a prototype you will not need to worry about adding features such as: Game Center Achievements / Leaderboards, In App Payments, Ads, etc.
This contract is simply to port over the core gameplay that we have created in Corona SDK. If we are in need of extra help to complete the game that will be in a separate contract.
