Add some simple AI routines to an existing script.
The game consists of two ships on a 2D plane. The "bot" ship needs AI routines for several tasks. The ships may have different heading and speed as well as different maximum speed and turning rates. The bot must control it's throttle and rudder to maintain some position in relation to the target ship.
Add the following routines:
Intercept - Bot ship will try to impact the target ship, taking in to account both the target's speed/heading and the bot's speed/heading.
Follow - The bot ship will try to follow the target ship at a particular distance. Bot will try to remain behind target with front pointed toward target.
Broadside - Bot ship will attempt to keep a particular side (right or left) pointed at the target while maintaining a set distance.
