Project Description

I need a simple MS visual c# application for a school project. It is a quoting system for a fencing company. It can not be too preofessional, something a student would write. The quoting should be written so that it can be converted and used later on android or Ipad.

It should have the following functions. Add and retrieve and being able to amend and print quotes. Should be able to export the quote into word or into a template. Ideally we would like to use SQLserver database to store the quotes. Quotes are referenced by a key, can be searched by name and address. I envisage 3 pages. First page: address and personal details, Second Page: Drawing of the job. Third Page: Quote details, price etc.

The quotes can be stored one single table. There would be another table (1:M) which stores the drawings or the pictures of the job. On the second page the pictures or drawing should be paged through using the left or right key (or swiping the screen, similar how iphone works). Should be able to do some basic sketches on the picture, draw lines, circles and type text and save it back to the database. When the new quote is added if its ipad should be able take a picture or load the picture from a file or have a simple drawing (without a picture) and save it back.

I am thinking using SQL server for database, but I am open to other ideas. Might be easier to store the quotes in an XML file and refrence the file names and the quote numbers from a database from the net. I am thinking about quoters who are somewhere out in the field have to access a database in a central location. This is only a nice to have.

The key here is simplicity. It shouldn't take more than 2 days to write for an experienced C# programmer. I need the source code and documentation. Do not use complex C# structures. It should be written on a level of beginner programmer.
