My main goal is to get a working implementation of Numenta's Nupic CLA so that I can do some data mining of my own and make predictions with the software. I understand Numenta's CLA at a high level but cannot seem to get past the hurdles of just getting the software working.
I'm ideally looking for someone who has successfully implemented Numenta's open source project Nupic or who has enough Linux, Python, and C++ experience to actually get this project installed and working on my machine.
I am a windows developer with good knowledge of C++ and C# but have never really worked in Linux or with Python in any meaningful capacity. Nupic is written in both C++ and Python but just getting the environment variables working is proving well outside my realm of expertise.
The open source project can be found here: [url removed, login to view]

Ideally since I'm most comfortable in windows I would love to find a way to install and run this project in a windows environment. It appears there have been some attempts at this in the open source project but the results seem inconclusive. See here: [url removed, login to view]
Basically I need someone to hold my hand through the initial stages of getting this software working so that I can take over once I understand the basics and actually do some data mining and prediction of my own.
