I will make a GUI in Qt C++ with a main window. In this GUI I will show some status/information about the position of a real person standing up.
I will take care of showing the status but I need something in Open GL that I can't do
I need someone to use Qt/Open GL to draw a simple 2D man model and make him to move (inclination and rotation) in function of the value of 2 spin boxes.
See the images attached to see what I mean. There will be 2 spin boxes to change the position of the 2D man. The rotation spin box will make the model to turn left/right as if you were standing up and turning left/right on your feet (stay in place). The inclination spin box will make the model to incline back/forth (not left/right) as if you were standing up and would fall on the floor in front/back of you. The 2D model is all rigid, it doesn't bend.
I will supply the main window (to come soon), I will leave an empty area to add a scene where the 2D man will be shown.
I will send the main window and Qt project
I will leave an empty area so you can add the scene
You make the secne with the 2D man and we are able to adjust its position with the 2 spin boxes
Please make sure the 2D model looks better than the one I have in the attached images
Please add comments in the code to make every steps clear to me ( I don't know Open GL)
It is REALLY IMPORTANT that when the work is done, I will be able open the project and compile/run it on my side without having to edit settings or having troubles/conflicts with Qt version. Here attached are images of the Qt version I use. It must work with it. I understand some settings may be done before it work, in this case I need to freelancer to help me on this. I don't want to have to struggle to make it compile/run on my side.
Greetings! What are the deadlines? Do I need to have drawing skills for this job? What's the fun in rotating a 2d-sprite? Maybe it's better to download a free 3d-model? Best regards, -Alexandre Kharlamov
