I would like to be able to generate Bitcoin public and private keys in a c++ project that compiles on Mac and or Linux. I want it to use as few external dependancies as possible but any that are required are fine. I don’t want to use all of the code in Bitcoin core just what is needed to generate keys.
I have a project started using some of the core Bitcoin code but get a seg fault when generating the keys from a secp256k1 library function call. The project is available on github here: [url removed, login to view]
For this project I would like a) modifications to this project build process or code so that it runs or b) an independent c++ codebase that generates Bitcoin compatible public and private keys.
Please include details about how you would go about implementing this project and any related experience on work similar to this. Thanks
Also please add an estimate of total time.

I have 6 years of experience on c++ projects. So I think I can handle yours. Please look into my profile and if you think I am suitable for this job, contact me
Already taken a look at code so know where your fault is. Could build a better make system. Not that familiar with bitcoin but have dropped rate to learn.
