The developer behind the indie strategy game Xenonauts ([url removed, login to view]) is looking for an programmer to code the artificial intelligence (AI) for the computer-controlled friendly and hostile units in the game.
The game is an isometric turn-based strategy game and the AI will have to take into account the terrain (there is a cover system) as well as the best way to move / use the weapons it is equipped with to defeat the player, and how best to achieve the mission objectives. There is only very basic AI in the game at present so a successful candidate would be able to code the AI from scratch. We do not have a preference about the AI system to be used as long as it works.
We are looking for somebody with at least basic previous experience with AI coding please.
