Project Description

CISS-111 Project 4

Write a Java program to demonstrate the use of linked-lists. You will be using the LinkedList from java.util.

The key to this design is that the list will be ordered (sorted ascending) and will not contain duplicates. Your code will maintain this order.

You will work with three file names provided (in the order below) on the command line:

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view] [or whatever you call it on the command line]

Consider using the following LinkedList methods:

boolean add(E e)

boolean contains(Object o)

boolean remove(Object o)

Further, consider using the [url removed, login to view]() method.

The file [url removed, login to view] is here and [url removed, login to view] is here.

You will produce an output file that contains all of [url removed, login to view] in sorted order, minus the duplicates and minus any items specified in d4.delete. In other words, process [url removed, login to view] and add the words to the LinkedList only one time, then delete words from the LinkedList that appear in d4.delete.

Once you have processed the [url removed, login to view] file and the [url removed, login to view] file, it is a simple matter of iterating over the list and writing the object data to the outputfile.

The output file size will be 22,725 or 27,270 bytes depending on platform and methods used
