Job Description: This position is an hourly contract role with varying weekly workload, but the individual's availability would need to allow for timely responses and contact during normal business hours in the US Pacific time zone. Responsibilities: - Front End development to [login to view URL] web and mobile assets - Improvements to existing assets and new features - Must be a self-starter, possess a strong track record and have organizational skills - Coordinate with development and management team for regular check-ins on active projects Requirements and Desired Skills: General Skills: - Ability to write cross browser, responsive front end markup - Ability to work with pre-existing codebase - At least general familiarity with Ruby on Rails platform, especially asset pipeline Knowledge of and experience with: - HTML5 - CSS - SCSS - Javascript - JQuery - CoffeeScript - ERB templating - Git/Github - Gaming experience, especially poker, is highly desirable but not necessary - Results driven and determined work ethic - willing to pursue every task to fully closed status - Experience with JIRA a plus but not required
