Project Description

Software Developer Needed

Project to build an online private repository of sales phone calls. Client uses an existing lead management and dialer system that can dump recorded calls as wave files by FTP upload. Developer to build an online system to accept and permanently store the call data and make the recordings available to 2-5 employee users. In addition to storing and retrieving files, the system should be able to run them through a voice transcription system such as the Google Voice API (rough transcription is all that is needed; the ability to show which voice is talking would be very helpful as well). The transcripts should then be made searchable by the user. There will be no metadata retrieval other than to extract the dialed phone number from the filename. Interactive batch retrieval from a list of phone numbers would be a required feature. Preferable features would be the ability to play back and skip through recorded calls at set intervals (e.g. 20 seconds) and the ability to match the playback position with highlighting the transcription text.

The developer would research and advise on all technology platforms to be used within budget parameters. The only technical requirement is that the system has to accept data by FTP upload from the existing dialer and recording system. Google services and Amazon services are likely candidates.

Please bid with an hourly rate and give an estimated number of hours to complete. The successful candidate will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
