Company Description: Ira Fox Photography is based in the heart of Manhattan. Our studio's photos have appeared in publications including: The New York Times, New York Magazine, and The Huffington Post.
Job Description: I am looking to hire an individual in a trial basis. Once the contractor has created a small section of the project, I will personally review the work and if it meets my satisfaction, it will turn into a full-time project on an hourly basis. I would ideally like to be able to communicate with the contractor so fluency in English is necessary.
The ideal contractor would be able to efficiently design a mobile app on the iPad that would have photo editing functionality. The app needs to have the following features:
1. Menu functions (nothing too complicated)
2. Image processing functions including adding filters, and being able to draw with paintbrushes and include text (similar to Snapchat)
3. Able to load an image from camera roll or taken directly from camera to the display
4. Intended for young audience so app should be child friendly
Applicants are encouraged to submit a concise cover letter detailing their experience and interest in working with mobile photo editing app development. For my reference, please include and cite a few examples in your portfolio of previous app development work.
After initial trial period, must be able to work between 30-40 hrs/week on project.
Fluency: able to communicate fluently in English
Must maintain consistent communication with manager (me)
Demonstrable previous work experience on photo editing
