Project Budget$30 - $250 USD
This project is somewhat simple and straightforward. Our company, Vantage Advertising, is sending out a promotional package with a solicitation letter and a rack card (and a couple of other special pieces). We’ve put together a demo solicitation letter but are not happy with the copy we’ve developed or the overall look/feel of the piece. We need a professional copywriter, with clear marketing experience to help us rewrite and improve our solicitation letter. We feel like it needs to be simplified and that there should probably be a few callout lines in bold to break up the copy. The letter is a single page, two sided and we’ve attached a PDF of it. We want to include our price structure (as shown) and details about our services and overall focus on quality. The rack card is a bit simpler. We’ll need 2-3 taglines to feature and then some small paragraphs and 1-2 sets of bullet points. The cards are [url removed, login to view]” wide by [url removed, login to view]” tall and will be graphically intense.
We’re looking to be lead somewhat on this project and in a way “wowed” by the copywriter. We want the opinions and idea of someone creative and professional, not someone who slings a few lines of generic text for extra dollars. We’ve been burned (to an extent) on Elance by a few copywriters who produced “average” work at best (despite decent reviews) and seemed somewhat sloppy and unprofessional. This is an audition to be sure and will definitely lead to more gigs if the quality is right.
We’re a small advertising and web design company in Pennsylvania. The focus of the text will be on website development. The text should be straight forward and feature/value focused. Although we have a nautical theme in our look the copywriter should not overdo it with excessive nautical puns or jokes. We’re not interested in looking cute. We want smart, simple and straight forward copy. Service, quality and affordability. Those are our focuses.
