Project Description

We are developing a website for our business Virid Pty Ltd with our core business can essentially be defined as a Direct Marketing, Data Driven Documents, Mailing House / lettershop, Variable publishing company. We are not experienced in writing this sort of corporate identity material as such we need a copywriter who is comfortable with this style of copy.

If you have a look at the attachment and information below you’ll get an idea on the sort of content required.

We need someone to write it into a consistent tone (as much of what is in the attachment was done by a range of people, all with a different style and approach). We also need it with more of a sales /marketing / self-promotion flair.

In the first instance we need copy for the website which we will then take later and re-format for production of a small promotional brochure.

With the website there will be the main landing/home page and that will then go off in various streams talking about the different services/skills we offer.

I imagine each stream may only be a couple of pages with heavy use of images and graphs/visuals (maybe some input and guidance on what we should be showing in each case). But each stream can be added to later on to allow for things like case studies.

Following are a couple of links to some PR about a new piece of equipment we have installed which will explain one side of the business. The reference to Alphabet Publishing in these articles is just one of our trading names – the copy will need to be written using the Virid name not Alphabet Publishing.

Below I have broken the structure of the site down to 3 main sections with a bullet point list of the required content for each along with a guesstimate to the number of words – as I see it but not limited too.

• Short Service overview for the 4 Main service Icons (Direct Marketing, Personalised Communications, Data Mining, Short Run Publishing (20-30 words x 4)

• Tag Line (5 – 15 words)

• Company News (optional 50 - 100 words x 2)

• What our clients say – 3 testimonials (20-100 words)
