Project Description

Hi all,

I'm looking for a writer or team of writers to create 30 articles on the subject of online marketing. The articles will take the form of blog posts, so I would like the style to be somewhat conversational and personal, but with the content remaining professional and useful.

SEO is not required. By all means incorporate some keywords in the post, but I want the articles to primarily appeal to the reader, not to Google. They should be between 250 and 500 words in length – if you could bid at around 400 words each, that would be perfect. The articles can then vary in length, as long as you don’t bid based on 400 words and send through 30 250 words articles!

I am a writer here on Freelancer, but this is not an outsourced project. Deadlines and quality control will be by me only, and I’m pretty flexible and laid back. This also means that I’ll be more than happy to undertake minor editing where required and you’ll be unlikely to receive any articles back for rewriting unless they really are terrible!

As mentioned, I’m happy to look at bids from both individuals and teams, from any country, and will give more consideration to the quality of your samples and ideas than the number of reviews.

The project may well be on-going, so I will most likely select multiple winners. I don’t want any free samples – I too have been stung by people asking for one from each bidder and running off with a free completed project. However, anything from your portfolio would certainly make my decision easier. I’d also like to see some title suggestions so that I can attempt to judge your approach. Remember, I’d like to combine topical issues (recent news, changes to popular services, etc) with timeless content that will be as relevant in two months as it is today.

Finally, please do not provide spun or rewritten content. By all means use other articles as a basis for your thoughts, but everything needs to pass Copyscape and attempt to provide the reader with either an idea or viewpoint that they cannot easily find elsewhere. Please consider the project ghost-writing, where ownership of the final works will pass to me, and will be published under a name other than your own.
