Project Description

Writers needed for a new website launching in the summer. We aim to be the one-stop information site regarding all things sex: gay sex, straight sex, solo sex; news, advice, product reviews, book reviews, fiction, and sex in the media. We plan on providing mature, open, and detailed information about sex and sexual activity.

Currently we are seeking writers to provide content for our launch. Mostly we're seeking articles and how-to guides. Below is a list of possible titles to give you an idea -- and if these titles make you blush, you probably won't want to write for us!

How to ________ (eg. Give a Blowjob)

Rimming: The Facts

Female Orgasm: The Facts

Anal Sex: The Facts

Oral Sex: The Facts

All About the Prostate

STIs: The Facts

Contraception: Your Options

Pornography and the Law

These are just examples, and we're open to all ideas and proposals. Articles need to be researched and factual -- no common myths! -- and how long these articles need to be depends on what you want to cover and the amount of information you have (this can be discussed). Sex is almost an infinite topic and we encourage you to use your imagination. Want to cover bondage? Go for it! Want to discuss the different types of lube on offer? Sure! We're open to honest and frank information about anything you can think of related to sex. We're not going for sleaze or porn -- our keywords are 'advise' and 'inform'.

Payment to begin with is a very modest flat-fee of $15 per article, paid through PayPal. We know, it's barely worth the mention, but this is a very limited budget to begin with. Some time after the site launches, we plan on keeping the talented writers with us and rewarding them with more appropriate compensation. In the meantime, you get your name online and a $15 bonus! Wherever possible, we will also offer promo for any books/sites you have available.

As I'm sure you know, the development and success of a new website is a slow and frustrating process. There's no 'overnight sensation' involved -- it's a lot of hard work, dedication, and commitment. But with motivation and professionalism, and with the right kind of people on board, over time we will make this website what it should be: *The* place to go for sex knowledge.

Still interested? Get back to me with the title(s) you'd like to write (plucked either from the list above or from your own imagination), the expected wordcount, and some kind of proof of your writing ability -- either links to pieces you've had published, or a sample or two. We'll go from there, provide more info, organise schedules, etc.
