Project Description

Note: This is not an hourly project; this is a project that pays per piece of data entered. I offer $[url removed, login to view] per piece of data correctly entered.

I want a list of articles that discuss social networking websites. Importantly, these must be "real" articles that discuss the launch of a social networking website, the launch of a competitor to the social networking website, the future of the social networking website , etc. An example of a relevant article is [url removed, login to view] Articles that simply note something trivial about a website do not count; I decide what counts, for which I just exercise common sense and will be fair in counting these. An example of something that doesn't count is [url removed, login to view], which has nothing to do with Quora except to regurgitate a topic on Quora.

In excel, the worker must gather the source of the article (e.g. "CBS"), the title of the article, the URL of the article, the date the article was written (posted), the author's name, the author's e-mail address and the social networking websites mentioned (e.g. Linked In). If any of these items are missing, the entry does not count for pay. Note that the most challenging item to find is the authors' e-mail addresses, which can require some creative Googling, so the best approach is to jot down URLs and see which ones for which you can find author e-mail addresses before proceeding with data entry. The phone number of the author is helpful but not required. A sample is attached.
