I have several 5+ customer video interviews that I need turned into customer success stories. Basically I have a 12-15 minute Q and A with key customers. I need the video turned into 2 page customer success stories. The breakdown will be as follows:
The case study should read like a story. Start out by describing the problem or situation. Take the reader along on a journey. Give the necessary background to explain the situation and include any relevant details that will help paint the picture. I want the story to be interesting and believable.
Next explain the challenges, the variables that made this particular scenario so complex. Describe any extenuating circumstances and potential risk factors.
Once the problem has been established, you’ve set the scenario for you to arrive on the scene as the superhero, ready to leap tall buildings, stop criminals in their tracks, and most importantly, solve "the problem."
Okay, maybe that’s a bit of hyperbole, but the point of the case study is to describe a problem and a solution, which we provided. This is one time it’s okay to be the star of the story. Tell the reader what our product and services did to save the day. Just make sure you offer meaningful proof that supports your assertions.
Include statements made by our customer. Quotes will add credibility to our story. Our customers have already told us how pleased they are with our products, services and/or people. Include these words. It's okay to paraphrase I have the approval from the customer.
Use more than one quote, if possible. Perhaps one speaks to the customer’s overall satisfaction with the job done. But another one or two could reference a specific detail that he was especially pleased with.
Explain how our solution was implemented and any problems encountered along the way. If you can quantify results, include numbers. Photos are a welcome addition too and can go a long way toward supporting your comments. I can provide all photos.
Finally, give the results. Describe the aftermath, the happily-ever-after thanks to your talents and hard work. Ultimately, you want the reader to have recognized himself in the problem and now see our solution and think, "Wow! If that worked for them, maybe it can work for us. I want in!”
I do have a PDF that explains in more detail this flow. If you need examples, I have examples.
I will need SAMPLES of case studies, customer stories THAT YOU HAVE AUTHORED.
I will try this out with one video. If successful, I will keep you in work for a long time. Just ask my other freelancers.
