Project Description

I need a freelancer who is able to come up with ideas and a script for a viral video (not more than 3 minutes) that explains the mechanism of how a social rewards scheme works, and also pokes fun at other competitors in the way they spend on advertising while we give reward to real word of mouth.

More details will be revealed to the winning bidder, but this will be for an online travel website with a really novel friend-recommend-friend social rewards scheme. If you have any initial ideas which you think would help convince to choose you, do send me a message! Also, do PM me if you have past work that would be similar to this.

Right now there are animated videos ([url removed, login to view]) that explain in a clean way how the mechanism works. I'd like something now that is a little more witty, along the lines of the original Orabrush commercial ([url removed, login to view]), using actual human actors (I already have a lead actress/presenter onhand). What I like about the Orabrush one was how they explained in an entertaining form how bad breath comes about, and then proceed to poke fun at what other similar items (tongue scraper, etc) do.

The target audience would be Asians aged 18 to 35 who are savvy internet and social media users. Although these are Asians, the approach and treatment of the Orabrush one would still fit in well.

The objective of the video is to build awareness of the website and the scheme. It needs to be entertaining (either funny, quirky, etc) enough such that people will want to share links to it on their social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Deliverables for your bid would be at least 3 concepts/ideas, and then upon shortlisting of the chosen concept, a script to be provided, which would include screenplay as well. If you'd like to include storyboards, I will be willing to pay more for it. These will eventually be used by a film crew to produce the video clip.

Please feel free to PM me with questions if you need clarifications or more information before bidding.
