Howdy pardners!
A clever, humorous 30-second TV commercial doesn't have to cost you an arm and a leg - neither for the script, nor for in production costs.
As a seasoned actor, scriptwriter and copywriter, I can easily prepare the script for a prizewinning commercial for you, and since it won't take me much time or effort, I will only charge you $30 for it. (However, if the commercial ends up winning a Clio award, I wouldn't turn down an all-expense-paid trip to the ceremonies, LOL!)
I already have a few compelling concepts in mind for what essentially can be a very low-budget commercial piece. I just need you to supply me with a comprehensive breakdown of the building company, containing specific details such as:
1) What kinds of home building the company specialize in (e.g. renovations, restorations, additions and upgrades, new homes, developments, estates, etc.) or general.
2) Who is the typical client, i.e. what is the demographic of the customer base?
3) What specific geographic area does the company serve?
4) What sets the company and its work apart from other companies? (e.g. quality, timeliness, attention to detail, economy, aesthetics, etc.)
5) What are some of the specialties and features that characterize the company's work? (e.g. kitchens, bathrooms, staircases, tile roofs, skylights, fireplaces, flagstone walkways and patios, etc.)
6) What is the company's history, track record and reputation?
If you provide me with the essential raw ingredients, I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised with the results. I've studied film and scriptwriting at university and at the Toronto Film School, and comedy happens to be my forte. As an actor I've played several "Western" characters, and I've written several sketch comedy and stand-up monologues, so this commercial will be a piece of cake.
You can review my portfolio for examples of my ad copy writing skills, and I'm also pasting into the body of my private message the copy for a recent humorous ad I wrote for a client as a potential submission for The Best of Craig's List.
Lastly, I'd like to add that I lived for a year in Los Angeles - my favorite place in the world - so I have a good frame of reference for what I'm working with here in terms of the So Cal geography and building market.
All that having been said, I'm fully confident that I'm the ideal candidate for your project, and I'm really keen and looking forward to working with you on this.
Best,
Matt
