Short Term 4 Week Project for the Month of April
Dear Virtual Assistants,
We need someone to help us with a customer service project in April. This is a very easy project that simply requires you to check a customer service email account for a service we are preparing to cancel. We have refunds ready to issue to customers affected by the cancellation and we will be sending out a FAQ email to everyone regarding the cancellation. This will be taken care of by us. We simply need you on hand to answer any questions customers may have after the refund is issued and the FAQ email sent.
Example of Possible Email a Customer May Send: What will happen to my art files?
Your Answer: All art files have been deleted from our system.
***What we will provide***
-All information related to the cancellation including template emails you can send regarding certain questions.
-Limited customer information to use as a reference. (For the privacy and security of our customers, we will not issue phone numbers or addresses.)
***What you will need to do***
-Answer customer service questions via email.
-Forward on to us the information of any customers who claim they did not receive their refund.
-Check Skype for any voicemails and return customer service calls.
-There are only around 60 paying customers affected by this cancellation. (Plus some who received the service for free.) Most will be satisfied with their refund and the FAQ email. Therefore, we predict this project will only take 30 min – 1 hour a day, Mon – Fri for the month of April.
-We only ask that you check the email account and voicemail once per day Mon - Fri. In other words, once you’ve checked the email account and voicemail, you are finished for the day, even if there is nothing to do. You will not need to check again until the following day. There will be plenty of days when there is nothing to do, especially in the last two weeks of this project.
-We should also mention that we have never had a voicemail to this number. About 90% of this project will be checking the email account.
-You can easily take this project on while working on other projects.
-Based on our estimates, for the entire month of April, you will likely only spend 10 – 15 hours TOTAL on this project. 20 hours max.
-Please bid the full amount for the entire project. We are looking for competitive bids, but we are also looking for a native or fluent English speaker, so our choice will likely be somewhere in the balance. To better your chances, we recommend you send us as much information about any relevant experience you may have.
-We will set-up and pay milestones on a weekly basis. In other words, we will set-up a milestone for your first week of work before you begin. We will release it after the week is finished, then set-up another milestone for the second week. This process will continue until the end of April.
In a way, this project is an experiment for us to see how effective outsourcing is. If you do a good job, there is opportunity for future projects that will pay more. Some future projects we have in mind are manuscript readers (you read sample chapters of a manuscript and let us know if it's a book you'd be interested in) and marketing campaigns.
If awarded, you will be required to sign a legally binding confidentiality agreement in order to proceed with this project. This is to protect our company and our customers.
