Project Description

I have a Visual Japanese-English Dictionary that I want to make into Flashcards using the free software called "Anki".

From the images I've uploaded, basically I want the applicant to cut photos from the PDF I will send, copy the text out, and make flash cards as shown.

Some light photo editing (erasing lines as much as possible when there are too many lines in the same area) may be required in some places. However, for the most part, I think the "Snipping Tool" in Windows, and copy/pasting should be enough.

I will provide assistance on helping the applicant get set up with Anki, and will make the format for the deck.

It is *very important* that the applicant *understands* how to make good flashcards, this will be very helpful in making the flashcards properly when it's not very clear how to make the best card from the image (some pictures are kind of tricky in how to separate them nicely). Not entirely related, but helpful to understand what I'm talking about: [url removed, login to view]

This job posting is only for a sample of 10 pages from the dictionary. I expect 10 pages to take around 5 hours.

If the quality is good and I feel like the applicant has a good sense of how to make good flashcards, I would like the applicant to make the rest of the 326 page dictionary and will negotiate with the applicant on how much to pay for the full job.
