Project Description

Background: I am studying the careers of young female scientists in
the US, with a particular focus on chemistry. An early result of that
research is that female PhD students who had a female advisor are
twice more likely to engage into careers in academia than female PhD
students with male advisors. Now I am trying to validate that finding
by constructing a better measure of academic careers

Work: I need someone to look up names of around 700 female students
who graduated from US PhD programs and check/code whether they are
still in academia.

Enter the first and last name of the student in google search
(possibly in combination with the university where she graduated from)
and look at the first page of results
If the person appears to have an appointment in academia (university,
research institute), report the university/institution and the
If the person appears to be in industry or any other non-academic
position, just indicate '1' in the column "found but not in academia")
If the person is not found, just indicate '1' in the column "not found"
Note: don't spend more that 2-3 minutes on any given name.

I am paying 5 Euro for finding 100 people. We can additionally discuss it if you want.

So, it is possible to do part of the task. I need the task to be done till October, 16.

I will send a file to the person, who will be interested in.
