I'm working with Filemaker to import data.
Currently I send out an e-mail asking for the information and manually enter it.
In the past I have used an excel spreadsheet with drop-down values, or open entry form.
I import the file into filemaker and all the information is there. I can do that myself, but the problem is this.
#1 - If everything is on one line in an excel spreadsheet, it's unprofessional looking and can be confusing.
I would like it to look professional and clean and easy to enter data.
Some values will be drop down because there is only one choice ex. Male or female.
Some values will be multiple like accents - some can do multiple accents, such as British, English, Australian.
Some values (such as commercial, animation, promo etc... are demos - some have them, some don't. The value is yes or no. I want them to fill them out.
What I would like is to create a professional looking, easy to use data entry form that i can email my clients. They enter the data and forward back to me and I import that data into filemaker.
I will add values later, so if the programmer can handle this, I'll hire them again as I come up with more information that is useful.
The key to it is that it obviously works, and that it is more professional that a straight line excel document with values because I can do that myself.
