Project Description

The is a website that can be found under [url removed, login to view]

I need a simple app (application language is not important), to produce a csv of an html page:-

When the user enters the [url removed, login to view] url a calendar of completed races is displayed. The hyperlinks of this calendar is the essence of this project. If one of the race courses on a specific date is clicked. The user is presented with a specific html layout, that I want to have converted into a csv file, with the following layout, of course the delimiter will have to be a comma, so please ensure that if an application is developed, that it removes any comma's that might have slipped into the specific data.

All races must be parsed into the format bellow a single file will be produced, for the complete race day:

The field definitions will be apparent from the layout and should be easy enough to achieve.

- Notes on conversions

The field Kg sometimes has a * and a weight, please remove the * and pace the weight in the JockeyAllowance;.

The field SP has an F and in other instances an f, please remove this indicator;

The record might contain the word scratched, please place this in the field containing the JockeyName.

The application will present me with a browser that I will have to click through to get to the race meeting.

Once I am at the race meeting a big button will be available that says "RIP ME !" when I press the button a "save as" dialog will appear and request me to choose the name and directory where the file will be stored.

I choose the name and folder and click on save.

The file, in the format as is explained above will be saved.

Please note that I will only pay once I had tested that the application does what is expressed in this specification. If you have suggestions on how to automate the who effort and to specify from which date to which date, I am open to increase the project budget by $10.
