Project Description

We are in need of an individual who is able to do data entry, web research, excel analysis, and maybe even some salesforce work. we have about 600 companies that need a data entry resource or two. If possible, it would also be helpful if the person had enough of a business background to figure out of a company is already venture-backed. I prefer a professional firm, otherwise an individual with high reliability, honesty, and efficiency. I would like this work completed in one week. There will be other projects for outstanding accuracy and professionalism.

Please answer the following questions: in what city are you based? do you work by yourself, or are you part of a group/firm? do you have a reliable internet connection? would you be willing to work and be paid by record? the workflow will be

1. parse a list (ie from PDF into XLSX) which probably contains company name only but may also include certain other data like revenues

2. compare against the existing database to identify repeats versus new companies (will figure out how to do this in a secure way)

3. code repeats in an XLSX file (we will figure out how to update our DB securely)

4. do web research on new entries to fill out CEO name, phone number, website

5. upload completed records into protected, secure sandbox in Salesforce

6. create a report (as appropriate) that will display results, possibly also create Console filter

have you done such work before, and what would you charge per record completed? please describe your qualifications for this work and ability to process this project on a priority basis. would you be willing to process a sample set of records (~50) as a trial?
