Project Description

I am in need of a large multi-step Excel macro that is able to process a text file list of customer orders, and retrieve and transcribe information from within other spreadsheets. Here is the overall outline of what is needed:

1) An excel action will import a list of customer orders from a text file into an excel spreadsheet (*.xls/.xlsx/xlsm), creating new rows in a data table for each order

2) The data table will reference other spreadsheets to interact with and retrieve more information, and fill in blank cells with this information

3) The data table is transcribed into a new spreadsheet file. This data transferred will be customer order information, such as address, package weight, etc. (I will then be using this new spreadsheet to upload directly into [url removed, login to view] shipping software after each running of the script)

This set of Excel actions will contain many small, specific steps that are all already designed to perfectly and efficiently retrieve and gather information from within the different spreadsheets. I have worked out all the steps; I just need someone who knows the syntax to go in and set up all the structures so that it can all be conveniently executed. There are three distinct phases to the project as outlined above; each phase contains about 20 variables that will need to be retrieved/transcribed.

** You should be well-versed with Excel functions and be able to combine/reference information across numerous spreadsheets

** This script should be able to be easily repeated again and again for any set of customer orders, not just for one set list of customer orders.

** In the future, I will be paying for programmers to create additional scripts as modules for this process. So, the actions should not be "closed off" in any way from further insertion of code.

** I will give higher preference to an American who speaks English for this project. This is simply for the easier communication.
