I am programming a very simple email client and to speed this up I would like to find a freelancer who can help me out with the following very simple project (I need Delphi 2010 compatible source code; this will later be integrated into another project):
1. Download emails from a server using POP3, emails to be stored (with attachments) in some data file on disk or in a Firebird 2.5 database (that would be ideal).
2. Display all emails in a grid using DevExpress, so that it looks exactly like the grid in the area marked in red in the attached screenshot (can leave away column ‘Sent’ but otherwise it should be the same – I guess DevExpress has a demo source code somewhere in their support forum)
3. Right click to show context menu with the following options:
a. Open: No function needed
b. Reply: No function needed
c. Archive: No function needed
d. Delete – if clicked then email should be deleted from grid/inbox
I have a license for Chilkat Mail ActiveX if you want to use that component. Fully functional trial version can be downloaded from the developer's website.
This is a simple task for a skilled programmer. I have several follow up projects if this project goes well. Will prefer Russian speaking programmers.
