Project Description

Vendors Bay is a portal for vendors who can register themselves and sell their merchandise on it. Vendors Bay will also allow users to import products from various sites like eBay, Amazon, M.A, DOBA & Google Base. Vendors Bay uses the specific services provided by these sites for importing & exporting products from them. Following are the user guide of milestone 1 task for this project:-

1) Bad Words Entry:- While import the products we have to check the list of words or phrases inside the products, these products will be set for the administrator approval. If these words are bad word then they are not sold on the site. Please check the below points how it is work:-

a) Area of path: Site Admin ? Bad Words Entry

b) Please select the category from where you want to check the bad words. Here you find three options Title, Description and Both. Please select one of these options.

c) Please enter the word you want to check & click on the submit button.

d) You can also Edit/Delete the words & its category with the help of Edit & Delete option.

On click Page Refresh

2) Import Category/Products from Doba:- The source is interacted to obtain the import data. The websites from which vendors import data provide specific web services/csv files for importing the products & detailed information on these products. Please follow below points how it works:-

a) Area of path: Site Admin ? Import Products from Doba

b) Select the source site “Doba”.

c) Please select the file name with the help of down arrow button for which Category/Products you want to import.

d) After select the file name click on the Import button.

e) The progress bar will be shown & further successful message display “Record imports successfully”.
