The younger generation, particularly men, are increasingly wary about marriage, partly due to the economic climate and greater sexual freedom compared to earlier generations. I would like to write a short E-book of about 100 o 120 pp for publication on Kindle on the subject "To Marry or Not? Case Studies" consisting of a general framing of the problem, including some current statistics, and about 10 - 16, depending on the length, real modern-time case studies showing the pros and cons for both sexes, based on interviews with volunteers, plus in each case some editorial analysis and comment. They should range from best to worst case scenario and include some middle-aged and older people reflecting whether their decision made sense in retrospect. Since almost anyone has a stance on, and experience with the subject, I feel it could have wide appeal if done in a brisk, entertaining style. - A questionnaire or two, maybe with some touches of humour, could also be included.
Since I am already busy with several projects I would like to hire find an editorial assistant/co-writer, to whom full credit as co-author and 50% of any royalties will be given, especially for finding the best case studies (including obtaining full rights) and the statistics, but also help with the editing, finding the right cover, promotion etc. As my budget is limited, please only apply if you can write well, find the subject interesting enough to believe in the project and are willing to engage in a ping-pong style co-operation, with ultimate editorial decisions remaining with me, although you will be doing at least half the actual work. I envisage a timeframe of about four weeks till completion of the project.
