I am writing a non-fiction book called Rhythm of a Runner. The story is autobiography about a child with a life long history of arrhythmia who planned to die young from congenital heart defects, but after several surgeries became a marathoner, ultra distance runner, ironman triathlete, and raced for Team USA triathlon. Its a book about life and death. It is about pushing to ones limits. It's about not giving up and turning weakness into strength. It provides the reader details about surgical training and balancing life. I hope to give inspiration so people can overcome their challenges and not become their defect. I discuss the insiders world of endurance sports from the perspective of an athlete, a patient, and a doctor who specializes in head and neck surgery and facial reconstructive surgery who has worked in the worst slums of Africa and witnessed God's glory and the darkness of human misery. I hope to champion kids with heart defects so they may have full lives. I have a soft finish date. The book is 110,000 words but I am not yet finished writing all the content. I'm looking for a proofreader and editor who can suggest style, flow and help me produce a quality book.
