I want to adapt the attached PIC controlled project to Arduino (Nano).
Additionally I want to modify the Schematic as follows:
The Plug Adapter detection shall not be done by driving and sensing a diode. It shall be done by driving a resistor and measuring the voltage drop on it.
So, if there is a cable attached with an [url removed, login to view] Ω resistor between earth and the measuring contact, the max. possible current shall be limited to 16 A. If the Arduino detects a 220 Ω resistor, the current shall be limited to 32 A.
