I could do this in SKM in about 50 hours. I would need about 18 days (maybe less). I am a licensed PE in New York and North Carolina, so I have the experience. But I cannot stamp the design for a Kansas hospital. I have many years of experience doing these calculations. I am also very familiar with national codes. This price includes one round of comments. In other words, you can make comments once and I will revise the calculations accordingly. After that, I will charge an additional hourly rate of $40/hour. This is customary to protect me from having you send endless rounds of comments and withholding payment until they are done. I will be as thorough as possible in the initial transmittal. The schedule will not start until data is provided from the hospital. The hospital will need to provide one line diagrams, duty cycles, and nameplate data for all transformers, motors, protective devices (circuit breakers, motor starters, fuses, etc.), emergency generators, etc. If no nameplate data can be provided, standard assumptions will be made.

B.S. EE from Illinois Tech. 7+ years MEP design for Mission Critical Facilities. Extensive Power System Studies experience. Process: 1. Obtain from you, complete one-line, feeder sizes and lengths, transformer sizes and impedances, short circuit ratings for all busses, make, model number, interrupting ratings and settings for breakers and fuses, Fault contribution from utility and on-site generators, motor ratings and other necessary information. 2. Model system in SKM. 3. Run worst case short circuit calculation in SKM to identify where available fault current exceeds equipment ratings. 4. Evaluate coordination curves (TCCs) with AS-IS settings. 5. Run multiple arc flash scenarios based on distribution system sequence of operation. 6. Review findings with you. 7. Modify protective device settings to reach coordination vs arc-flash objectives discussed at review meeting. 8. Re-run the short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash studies in SKM. 9. Issue report with recommended equipment replacements and breaker settings changes. 10. Issue arc-flash labels in PDF format. Reliable bids/quotes should depend on size and complexity of distribution system (# of utility sources, generators, transfer switches, redundant equipment, OLD equipment, etc) not just the square footage. All serious bidders should ask probing questions. I'm new to freelancer.com so it won't let me post questions to public clarification board because I have no reviews yet. Please contact me for more questions.
