Project Description

We would like to build a Hydroponic control system based on adruino board or a like and android software. The equipment must control the watering solution of the system.

Probes: 1. pH meter 2. EC/TDS meter 3. Water temperature meter

Valves and Switches: 1. Peristaltic valves 2. On/off switches

Watering solution control

The system need to adjust continuously the EC/TDS level and feed the water tank with the nutrient solution. The nutrient solution is a combination of 4 nutrients. These nutrients have a certain percentage value on a week cycle. The growing period is divided on week cycles and each cycle has different percentage values of the nutrients. This is controlled thru the peristaltic valves.

Next it needs to adjust water temperature thru an on/off switch of a water heater.

And finally it needs to adjust the pH level like above.

This cycle is continuous. The values of temperature and pH are stable, but adjustable thru the main control software. The PPM levels and percentage of nutrients are stable on week cycle but the week cycles are customizable thru the main control software.

The main control software must be written on android and run on a smartphone or a tablet.

It must provide user friendly interface to adjust the above values and ring alarms when need it. It must connect to the arduino core and keep records of previous periods.
