We have a requirement for a CCTV and Alarm device that will be solar powered and stand alone on a pole mount, the device will be part of 2-3 devices per site that will need to interact together via a simple CMS.
The device will need to be on and record for 3 mins in 15 sec intervals which will need to be transmitted to the CMS and stored on the database as well as the device itself.
The device can also be remote controlled and a the light or the strobe siren will need to be activated via GPIO as well as record on demand.
The device will turn on and poll every 5 mins to the CMS.
1. Remote Equipment - Camera, Strobe, Siren, PIR, Battery & Solar Panel in self contained box on a pole
2. Web CMS – preferably written in anything other than PHP – https is requirement – I have complete document and screenshots
3. Web CMS Database – MySQL
1. Remote Equipment:
1.1 Development Board – Cortex M3/M4
1.1 SD Card Storage at least 8GB – files are to be stored in 15 sec intervals to avoid corruption if power lost once card full overwrite like DVR from start leaving end data still there.
1.2 3G Modem PCI-E or USB whichever uses less power – possibly with GPS to log position
1.3 2MP Camera - JPEG OUT – image to be stored at least 800 x 600 maybe 10 fps to reduce bandwidth
1.4 PIR - Infrared PIR Motion Sensor Detector Low Current
1.5 Solar Panel and regulator
1.6 Battery – self sufficient solar charging - no top up required.
1.7 Relay for strobe/siren and 10W LED Light – for lighting up scene for camera
1.8 Day/Night resistor circuit to turn on light only when dark
1.9 Must be able to be armed/disarmed by wireless rf device with very low current and/or CMS.
1.10 Tamper switch for box, if cover removed it is to go from NC to NO
1.11 CONTACT ID Alarm format – stored in CMS and transferred via TCP/IP to commercial monitoring software – can send you details if you don’t know what it is.
If you can only do the Devices part (1) itself that is ok as I can get someone else to do the Web CMS and Database but you will need to provide all the coding interface so we can integrate the Device and the CMS together. This should be included in the quote as we need to do some testing to make sure the device can communicate with the web interface.
I have further designs for arm/disarm and what devices need to be turned on/off when in these modes.
