We are a research group at a US-based university and we design medical devices for use resource-poor settings. We have a complete schematic for a pulse oximeter and we need someone to layout the components onto a circuit board which we can then send to get manufactured. Here are the basic details about the electronic system design:
- Requires two double sided boards. We will provide the maximum dimensions that the boards can have (in x, y, and z)
- Includes several analog filter stages in addition to an 8-bit MCU. We will give preference to individuals with prior experience creating circuit boards for analog applications.
- The basic components of the circuit board are: a UI, including a shift register, two seven-segment LED displays, and a button; One red and one IR LED with accompanying driving curcuits; a photodiode and five filter stages; and the microcontroller.
We need this job to be completed as soon as possible. We will consider awarding bonuses for quick turn around times (i.e. less than one week total project duration).
