Make a printed card, very small, and well established, with a serial communication protocol 485 and 8 actuators (relays).
The card must be contained in a box GW27008 gewiss 16 seats and 8-socket schucko, the bulk of these outlets does not allow the placement of the relay at the center of the card, it forces you to put them to the side.

In-depth description:

The card must have 8 power relay (120V/220V AC at 7A) controllable via serial. The serial communication must be a two-wire (rs 485) which, for convenience and simplicity of realization will have these parameters defined: 8 Data, 1 Stop, No Parity
Baud rate: 9600. Each card will have mini switch (DIP switch 4) to define their own serial address (1 to 15). The relays have the connections to NO (normally open). The power of the card is okay to 9V or 12V that will come from the outside using a connector rj11 on which will also pass the data. The mains supply to the outlets must always run on the track.
