Need engineer to look at existing code and design of USB joystick game controller board in the public domain, and make necessary changes to code and circuit design so as not to infringe on copyright. Delivered product will be one working prototype board, including new code, and gerber files.
Manufactured product will cost no more than $[url removed, login to view] based on volume purchases of electronic components. Microchip will be an Atmega8(or newer alternative) in order to keep costs low. Before bidding, please look at [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] to understand what I need.
When prototype is delivered, it should be USB plug and play. Windows Device Manager will recognize it as a" (my name) gamestick controller" with 8 axis and 12+ switches.
The prototype will have terminal blocks to connect wires coming from potentiometers and switches.
If possible, I would like the board to provide at least 4 10 bit analog inputs, and the rest could be 8 bit.
