i am looking for someone capable to perform several calculations related to the propulsion of a small boat by the ejection of water and compressed air. in brief, it is about determining the required thrust and the physical characteristics of the cylinder - piston engine(s) in charge of pumping water and compressing air, as well as calculating the steam pressure needed to activate the engine(s). you can compare this project to a big water rocket propelled boat for which water and compressed air are provided by the work of a steam engine. so, for you it is about calculating the key values of such a system and not to design any engine.
for this job i ideally need someone with good knowledge in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and possibly having a taste for simplified systems.
later on i will post another project regarding the design of a prototype based on your calculations applied to the engine model i have in mind. maybe this second part of the venture will also be of interest to you.
