Project Description

Hello. I'm a graduate student in need of an automated way to collect data about finished listings on eBay in order to build a sample for my dissertation. Consequently, I'd like some software or script that scrapes the following data from search result queries on eBay:

1)product number, product category, starting date, ending date, product state(new, refurbished, used)

2)starting and final price and buy it now(depending on the type of the listing)

2)shipping costs or if the item has free shipping

3)seller reputation and if they are an eBay store or not

4)number of bids, number of bidders, value of the bids and when they were placed(separate lists, one that includes and one that excludes automatic bids)

5)number of words and number of pics used to describe the object

The output should be in a file that can be imported in a statistical analysis software and in a format conducive to easy importation.
