I need to create an Access Database for a swim school. Already have some sort of template in excel but need to develop a more sophisticated system. This project is reposted as the previous freelancer has not produced any results 1 week after the deadline passed.
Database would need to have
1) Family List (Parent/Guardian Name, contacts, etc. This links to individual Students)
2) Student List (ID's, medical conditions)
3) Multiple Swim Locations and Type of Classes (student ability)
-Different Class timings per day
4) Coach List (able to assign per classes schedule)
5) Attendance List for each student for each class. Able to view on a monthly basis in tabular format
6) Remarks column
7) Able to sort according to
- Swim Location
- Type of classes
- Student Name / ID
8) Reports quite similar to the standard "School" template in excel 2007.
Bonus points if you are able to create something which multiple users can edit and update at the same time. You should be able to modify something quite easily from the school template. More bonus points if you can incorporate some sort of waitlist system.
I have attached a very skeletal structure of the excel sheet that is in progress. You can roughly see what needs to be done. This will mainly function as a scheduling and attendance tracking system with a secondary data point of students and parents.
