Project Description

//----------------- Non-Unity Developers Need Not Apply -----------------//

Job Description:

The candidate will be required to search Youtube for the most popular tutorial channels about programming in C# for the game development engine "Unity".

Ideally, you will already be familiar with a lot of Unity tutorials and have an idea of what they themselves have used/found useful in the past

The tutorial channels must meet the criteria set out in the Channel Criteria Document (see attached file) provided.

A minimum of 80 channels' are required, with a soft target of 100.

The corresponding data must be filled-in on the "Overview" tab (Year Channel Create, #Of Subscribers, # Of Videos etc.) of the Google Sheet Document for each channel

An example on how to do this has been provided (see the "Unity" entry in the Overview tab). Notes have also been provided in the Overview tab to help with any questions you might have about what to put into each input field.

As well as the "Unity" example, 15 other channels have been partially filled in; the rest of the data for these 15 channels will also have to be filled in.

These 16 channels that are already provided WILL count towards the total channels collected.

If the candidate has personally used any of the tutorial channels, it would be great if they could put a small note about what videos/playlists they used and what they found useful in the Useful Notes input field.

In short:

Find the most popular Unity tutorial channels that meet the Criteria started in the Criteria document

Add the Unity Channel Data to the Overview Sheet

Repeat until there are at least 80 channels listed

Side Note: There will be additional tabs in the provided Google Sheets Document, please ignore these. The only sheet that will need to be filled in is the one titled "Overview"
