I regualrly download a backup of my "daily todo list and diary" from my phone into excel to create a weekly timetable that i can print off.
The downloaded db contains all my TASKS and the PROJECT name that it is filed under. i simply want to be able to see them in a dropdown list in a seperate sheet in the same workbook.
Once i find the right person i will give you more details on how to read the attached spreadsheet and exactly which columns contain the data that i require, however for now please look at celll AV180 ONWARDS you can see that all the project and tasks are listed in column BD and the projects are distinguishable from the tasks as column BG has the entry "kCkkhl1o9l" for projects only.
For this project to be successfully completed you need to do following:
1. In the seperate TIMETABLE sheet i should be able to click PROJECT and a dropdown list of all my projects will appear.
2. Once i choose a particular project, the cell below it marked TASKS will also contain a dropdown lists of all tasks relating to the CHOSEN project only.
3. You will not make ANY ammendments to the data spreadsheet AND i should be able to download a newer version of the data whenever i want and the formulas used to get the TASK and PROJECTS will not be affected.
