I manage several projects at the same time in a "Funnel Report". There are several steps for each project to get to completion. All of these steps depend on the Due Date of the project itself. I would like to "link" the dates from my Excell spreadsheet to the calendar - as appointments - to serve as reminders for each task needed for each job. I also have other people working with me so the google calendar I think is good, because email addresses can be added to each appointment to send invitations to other ppl.
I also need to have the flexibility to customize the spreadsheet in any way i need.
I envision that for each task I write for every job, to be able to have a "Link" button that can send the information directly as an appointment in google calendar.
Please see the attached numbers file as an example of how the funnel report looks like. What i need is whenever i set a task date for one of the projects to have an option question " make this a calendar appointment ?", if yes then to ask the hours of the day, invite email... and then to send all info into the google calendar...
"automatize" the excel spread sheet to create events into the calendar on its own as needed?
I my excel spreadsheet (funnel report) I have anywhere between 40-50 projects. each project has multiple steps of progress (different tasks, meetings with clients, additional information for clients, drawings and plans...)
For example if for one of the projects, project #1 i need to make myself a note, with a date and time, that i need to meet the client next week to finalize all details before production, can Excel send all the information to google calendar to create an appointment on its own? to include the date, the project name, reason for the meeting, invite client as well to the appointment by adding the email address? And then for project #3 i need I have a due date for drawings, If i punch in all my info in my funnel report, then I need excel to do his work and create that reminder on the calendar.
Let me know if you think its possible
