We're looking for someone to create a Filemaker database to help manage our small film and video production business.
We need to manage:
- Equipment Rental
We currently have some basic functionality running in Bento, but need the data to be more relational, plus we need the multi-user capabilities of Filemaker.
A wireframe will be provided (I was a UI designer before I made videos) and it doesn't need to be pretty. Once the functionality is correct we will style it in house
It's all pretty simple, just a few relational things to do, and some nice forms and reports
ID, Name, Category, Status, Client Contact, Details, Tasks (linked to Crew), Projected expenses, Budget, Expected Profit.
Basic contact details, a portal to projects
Contact details, Ratings, Standard Rates (Full Day, Half Day, Per Hour) Primary Tertiary and Secondary Skills, a portal to jobs
Category, Name, Serial, Cost, Condition
Kind of like the loan system that is the "starter solutions" but i need to have a costs in there too. Plus relational stuff to Crew who will be renting the gear and notifications of late returns etc
We'll be expanding on the functionality in the future. But everyone probably says that.
