I have a Google Sheets data set with 257 countries listed in the rows. The first 21 are already completed. All information is to gathered from [url removed, login to view], and everything can be copy/pasted from there. There are 22 columns of data that are empty, and need to be populated with data like population, major religion, language, and also three that are html links form [url removed, login to view] (e.g Right click on map, copy URL and paste URL into sheet.). It is acceptable to leave blank data that is not available on that Country's [url removed, login to view] page (occasionally the HDI rating, or rank or similar things are not available.) It takes me under 3 minutes to do each country, therefore 13 hours of work. Prefer Google user, who can share the Sheet so that I can check progress is satisfactorynnnnSome rules of thumb for working through tricky categories.n - some countries don't fit nicely into Region category - just pick the closest.n - Population rank is in blue after population, and sometimes missingn - The Premier is the highest ranking government official, not appointed by a monarch (e.g. the Prime Minister, President, etc. or King/Prince in monarchies, ignore Governor general and British Queen of Commonwealth countries)n - National Anthem (Not national song, motto, or royal Anthem) is in local language, not English Translation.n - Bordering countries usually found in first paragraph of article, just copy the description, including directions. n - If no national language, use official language and vice-versa, if multiple national languages, just put the first one.n - Take care to recalculate GDP values if not in billions (i.e. 450 million should be [url removed, login to view] in the GDP_billions column)n - calling code without the plus sign (does funny things to spreadsheets otherwise.)n - right click on flag and map to copy URL n - If national anthem is available, click on menu, share icon (3 people) and copy the "Embed on page" coden - Religiosity is usually found further down in the article. Use a quick search, or find the short cut to religion.Get free quotes for a project like this
