A client of mines requires a multimedia centre for a website I am creating and they have stated it must be an Adobe Air Application. I have never used this before so would like to offer the work out. It is to work along side a similar system they have which is also an Air application.
They have said that I must design and implement a multimedia entertainment centre which will allow the user to select and play or view different media.
The media formats should include: jpg, swf, mp3 and flv files.
The user should be able to:
-Select which file they want to play or view and control the playing (swf, flv, jpg)
-Control sound volume.
-In the case of the jpg files, this should be to view the images as a slideshow which the user can also navigate.
-Create playlists for the mp3 files which can be saved and loaded at any time for playing, be able to play through all the mp3 files available automatically, and be able to select a single mp3 to play.
-The playlists should be saved in SQLite DB.
As mentioned it has to be implemented using ActionScript 3.0, SQLite database and XML where required as this SQL lite database could possibly be linked up to their current one.
