Project Description

We need to develop a Flash game similar to these:

We will provide you the graphics, sounds and animations, as well as an outline of how game screens will look like, and then you’ll have to assemble the game screens and their programming.

This game will be a client-server game with a PHP based server and a Flash client. We will provide you a PHP server and you should build the Flash client (in ActionScript 3).

It is a race game similar to the ones mentioned above, and most part of the game consists of pushing buttons and sending orders to the server in uri format, as well as getting data from the server and showing them to the user..

The most complex part of the game will be the resolution of the race (similar to the games we’ve used as example),... we’ll get the setting, the list of runners and the times made by each runner from the server, and Flash will have to play the race according to the data given by the server.

The game will also have a drag-and-drop option to assign pieces of equipment to runners. The rest of options will be buttons and sliders.

We prefer to hire somebody with previous experience in the development of videogames or complex Flash websites.

Please read the specification of the Flash project ([url removed, login to view]) for a description of all the game screens. We’re also attaching a complete description of the project ([url removed, login to view]) in case you want to have a more detailed idea of how the game works as a whole.
